LEADERSHIP

Boys & Girls Clubs in Colorado Leadership

Our leadership team includes an executive director, staff, and board of trustees.

Executive Director

Stuart Jenkins

Stuart comes to the Colorado Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs with over a decade of experience in legislative affairs and political advocacy, and a history of advocating for policies to support Colorado's children and families.

He began his career as a legislative aide in the Colorado House of Representatives, later joining the staff of U.S. Senator Michael Bennet. Returning to state legislative advocacy, he became a policy advocate for Healthier Colorado, where he built bipartisan coalitions to improve healthcare access and secure funding for youth services. Most recently, he worked with Larimer County’s Department of Human Services, leading its legislative agenda and budget priorities. There he partnered with youth organizations to pass child welfare equity reforms and increase state funding for the local administration of public benefits.

A native of Carbondale, he has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver and a bachelor’s degree in politics from Regis University.
